Edmonton, Canada Integrated Power Services Full time

**Responsibilities & Expectations**:
We are looking for a skilled Switchgear or Transformer Field Service Specialist for our Canada Field Service Division.
- Inspect, test, and maintain low, medium, and high voltage electrical power distribution equipment
- Partner with sales team to draft quote proposals for future work
- Provide technical guidance to the team and to customers
- Draft and finalize inspection and maintenance reports for customers in conjunction with other technicians.
- Develop new customer interest by partnering up with sales team for onsite calls
- Support existing customer base by providing World Class service

**Qualifications and Competencies**:

- Minimum of 5 years of low, medium, and high voltage switchgear testing, repair, and quoting
- 2+ years’ experience working with low and medium voltage pad mount transformers - testing, oil sampling, and component change out preferred
- 3 years’ experience working with protection relays
- NETA certification preferred
- Electrical journeyperson or Certified Engineering Technologist required at minimum
- Strong analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skills
- Able to work overtime when needed
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as customers require
- Valid driver’s license throughout employment
