Equipment Operator/skilled Landscape Construction

Twin-City Interloc is an established construction company operating in Kitchener-Waterloo and the surrounding area for over 30 years. Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for Skilled Construction Labourers & Equipment Operators with leadership capabilities and strong landscape construction skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide labour on various landscape construction projects as required.
- Work closely with the site Foreman to: maintain efficient operations, meet deadlines and project budgets
- Operates a variety of equipment and hand tools including 14 ton excavators, skid steers, front end loaders, mini-excavator, etc.
- Maintain assigned equipment and report required repairs
- Comply with TCI's health and safety policies and procedures
- Ensures trucks, equipment and tools remain clean and maintained
- Winter season snow removal

**Knowledge and Experience**
- A minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience working in the landscape construction field
- Required construction knowledge and experience in the installation of paving stone, retaining walls, garden bed preparation, plantings, and other elements of the landscape construction industry
- Skills: good oral and communication skills’ excellent problem solving; interpersonal; organizational; planning; and ability to make decisions confidently
- G’ class Ontario drivers license (Class A license would be an asset)

**Working Conditions**:
Work duties will primarily be carried out outdoors and regularly exposed to wet and\or humid conditions and hot and cold weather

Full time position providing 45-60 hours per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
