ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of the AV Maintenance Administrator is a key member of the Royalty Operations team. You will be responsible for verification and data entry of cue sheets provided by Production companies, Broadcasters, and/or Foreign Affiliates. This may include research, correction, maintenance, and validation activities of music usage for each production. Your efforts and overall contributions will facilitate prioritization and maximize royalties to our members, and foreign affiliates participating in SOCAN’s Film & Television Distributions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compare duplicate cue sheets by researching and identifying conflicting information and resolve discrepancies
- Data entry and creation of AV repertoire in SOCAN’s database, including but not limited to researching repertoire as well as interested party information and creating non-affiliate accounts using SOCAN’s systems
- Updating or modification of existing cue sheet details
- Handling assigned prioritized workload, and ensure completion of cue sheet processing by expected timelines for each distribution
- Proactively advise Team Lead of any potential processing and efficiency improvements and actively participate in any team or department initiatives
- Other duties, as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Music Industry knowledge or Work-related experience
- Music Business Diplomat or Certificate
