Our goal at Dr. Bee is to provide people with natural health products and food goods of excellent quality, purity, and effectiveness by sharing the treasures of the beehive. We began with 16 hives in 1996 and have grown into one of the most well-respected honey bee product producers & purveyors in Canada. **About the Position**
We are a growing company and seeking an energetic and outgoing individual to join us as a full-time **Sales & Marketing Assistant** at our **Pitt Meadows Head Office**. This entry-level position is mainly responsible for supporting in-person sales, promotional, and customer service activities. You will also be responsible for a variety of day-to-day marketing operations such as copywriting, basic graphic design, and social media posting.
This is a great position for fresh-graduates with a desire to engage with a wide variety of marketing and sales functions. **What Are Your Key Responsibilities?**
- **Conduct in-person product demos and participate in trade shows** to engage with potential customers and effectively showcase our products.
- **Receive guests and perform client presentations** to promote the Dr. Bee brand and products to develop potential sales relationships.
- **Perform internal sales duties** as part of the sales cycle, including, but not limited to, providing marketing materials, pricing information, preparing invoices, and arranging samples.
- **Answer phone calls and assist customers** in-store at our retail farm store.
- **Provide exceptional online customer service** by promptly responding to inquiries & messages and handle basic ecommerce store back-end support.
- **Maintain company social media accounts**; create scheduled & ad-hoc content, respond to questions, and ensure brand cohesion (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- **Help coordinate** retail store operations with marketing & warehouse operations.
**What Are We Looking For?**
- Diploma in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline or the equivalent in academics and work experience is preferred
- Fully fluent in speaking and writing English and Mandarin Chinese
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and comfortable with handling outbound customer facing communications & interactions
- Strong copywriting skills
- Basic graphic design skills and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite is a major plus
- Excellent computer literacy and proficient with various productivity software (Microsoft Office Suite and Slack)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
**Compensation & Benefits**
- $21-23 per hour starting salary, wage and pay structure based on experience and skillset
