**In a nutshell**:
Nero Belgian Waffle Bar on Granville offers a unique concept, different from our other two locations. Our focus at this location is on mini liège waffles, breakfast waffle sandwiches and other small waffle snacks. We pair this with great coffee. There is mínimal seating available at this location which makes it mainly a take out shop. The Granville location is also our Production outpost where all the dough and batter for the other locations is being produced.

If you have previous experience in baking and coffee, we'd love to hear from you We have 1 full time position available. This location is only open during the day (8am to 5pm, weekends 9am to 5pm). Shifts start as early as 7am.

**The Role**

As an All Rounder at Nero Belgian Waffle Bar, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- opening duties to perform before the store opens
- stocking the display case before opening time by baking mini waffles and other products.
- taking orders from customers at the counter
- making coffees and other drinks
- general cleaning work
- monitoring health and safety in the store

We are looking for enthusiastic team players who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and have a love for waffles and coffee.

**Credentials and/or Experience Requirements**
- Experience as barista and baker or pastry chef or similar (minimum 2 years experience)
- Food Safe Level 1.
- Minimum of a post-secondary diploma or certificate.
- Ability to lift 25kg.

**Skills Required**:

- Excellent verbal, reading and writing skills (English).
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions as laid out in process manuals.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
