**Key Responsibilities**:Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Lead the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the Treasury department, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall financial strategy and goals.
- Work closely with senior management to create accurate and timely financial projections, taking into account key drivers such as interest rates, liquidity, capital requirements, and regulatory considerations.
- Prepare detailed variance analysis, identifying discrepancies between forecasted and actual performance, and provide insights on corrective actions to improve performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Treasury operations, including cost of funds, liquidity ratios, and returns on capital.

**Net Interest Margin (NIM) Management**:

- Analyze and manage the bank’s Net Interest Margin (NIM), ensuring it remains within target ranges while optimizing asset-liability composition.
- Conduct detailed NIM analysis and modeling, evaluating the impact of changes in interest rates, funding costs, and market conditions on the bank’s profitability.
- Work with ALM (Asset Liability Management) teams to optimize the bank's balance sheet, including the effective allocation of capital and funding strategies to maximize NIM.
- Provide recommendations on pricing strategies, asset-liability mix, and funding sources to optimize NIM under different interest rate scenarios.

**Interest Rate Risk Management**:

- Assess and manage interest rate risk (IRR) across the bank’s balance sheet, ensuring compliance with regulatory limits and internal risk tolerance levels.
- Conduct comprehensive interest rate risk modeling and scenario analysis, evaluating the impact of potential interest rate movements on the bank’s earnings and capital.
- Support the Treasury team in implementing hedging strategies, including the use of derivatives and other instruments, to mitigate interest rate risk.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure alignment between Treasury and enterprise-wide risk management practices.

**Debt Investor Relations**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for debt investors, maintaining strong relationships with existing investors and engaging with potential new investors.
- Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, debt roadshows, and other communications to ensure clear, consistent messaging regarding the bank’s financial performance, strategy, and risk management.
- Provide detailed analysis of the bank’s debt profile, including current and projected debt issuance, debt maturity schedules, and related costs.
- Monitor and report on market trends, including changes in credit spreads, interest rates, and investor sentiment, to support the bank’s debt issuance strategy and overall capital structure.
- Work closely with the Director and Treasurer on managing the bank’s debt issuance program, ensuring optimal execution and timing of debt transactions.

**Strategic Analysis and Decision Support**:

- Provide analytical support for Treasury’s strategic initiatives, including capital management, funding optimization, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Finance, Risk, and Accounting, to provide comprehensive analysis on the bank’s financial performance, funding requirements, and risk exposure.
- Support senior management with data-driven insights and recommendations on key financial decisions, including strategic investments, capital planning, and funding strategies.
- Produce regular reports and presentations to the Asset & Liability Committee and Board of Directors on Treasury’s performance, NIM trends, interest rate risk exposure, and debt market developments.

**Process Improvement and Systems Optimization**:

- Identify opportunities to enhance Treasury analytics processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and streamline reporting workflows.
- Recommend improvements to Treasury systems, data infrastructure, and tools used for risk management and performance analysis (e.g., Treasury Management Systems, financial modeling software).
