In the Electrical Department you will build lighting effects as part of theatrical scenery.

Duties will include:

- Read circuit diagrams and follow verbal instructions to efficiently lay out, assemble, and wire control panels and install connectors, lights, controllers, and other components.
- Test and troubleshoot control panels
- Install lighting such as LED tape or fixtures on scenery according to the design intent
- Install cabling on scenery neatly

Many of the projects we build do not have clear processes or solutions and designs may change on the fly. Creativity, flexibility and the ability to think and adapt quickly are an asset. You must be able to work with care and precision.

**Skills**:

- Electronics soldering
- Electrical tools such as digital multimeter
- Troubleshooting
- Ability to read circuit diagrams
- Light fabrication
- Basic hand and power tools
- Carpentry and metal fabrication skills would be an asset

Electrician license or apprenticeship not required.

**Salary**: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
