Landscape Maintenance Team Lead

Are you passionate about landscaping and ready to take on a leadership role in a growing, dynamic company? We are an established landscaping business seeking a motivated and skilled Team Lead to join our team.
**Position Overview**:
As a Landscape Team Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a landscape maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. From lawn care and plant maintenance to irrigation management and pest control, you will play a key role in maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of landscape maintenance workers, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that work is performed accurately and according to schedule.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform a variety of landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and mulching, to keep properties looking their best.
- Plant Health Care: Identify pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies in plants, and implement appropriate treatments to maintain plant health and vitality.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair landscape maintenance equipment, ensuring that tools are in good working condition and properly maintained.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure that all team members adhere to safety regulations.
- Documentation & Reporting**: Utilize company apps to track hours worked, report on and document completed work, and complete safety assessment forms to ensure accurate records and compliance.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, plant care, and irrigation systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Landscape industry certifications (e.g., Certified Landscape Technician) preferred but not required.

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
