The SNC-Lavalin Environment Practice has one of the most experienced consulting teams in Canada and is currently seeking an intermediate to senior-level **Environmental Project Manager** with a minimum of 10 years of experience to support our Western Canada Team.

You will play a key role as part of our Environmental Permitting & Management Team in executing work related to the environmental management of projects (end to end) throughout British Columbia.

You will be based in one of these locations: the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island (Nanaimo or Victoria), Terrace or the Okanagan (Kelowna). **You will be responsible for**:

- Act as the project-level environmental representative for clients.
- Ensure that environmental and archaeological risks are fully captured and incorporated into projects within the Province of BC.
- Prepare and review scope and cost estimates to support project design phase and construction phase.
- Manage budgets and deliverables according to agreed scope and contract terms.
- Support regulatory review process, as directed by clients.
- Prepare or review environmental protection and mitigation plans.
- Prepare or review technical reports associated with regulatory approvals or compliance requirements.
- Ensure quality of work (Project end to end) including proposals, work plans, field programs, data collection and analysis, mapping, technical reports and management plans, environmental monitoring.
- Mentor and direct less experienced staff to ensure quality and timely completion of deliverables.
- Relationship management, consultation and engagement activities on behalf of, and as directed by clients with Project stakeholders, partners, agencies and Indigenous groups.
- Periodic field work as necessary.

**Qualifications**:
**You have the following**:

- A university degree or college diploma in environmental science or related studies. Graduate level training is an asset.
- Professional accreditation or eligible (e.g., R.P. Bio., EP, PMP, P.Ag., P.Eng., RPP).
- Work experience as an environmental consultant.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with a focus on environmental management of mid
- to large‑sized Projects end to end.
- Experience in a client facing role and working with general contractors on construction sites.
- Experience managing subcontractors and subconsultants.
- Demonstrated experience as an environmental manager during construction.
- Diplomatic and direct verbal and written communication skills.
- High competence in preparing and coordinating technical environmental documents, reports and management plans to support design stage, regulatory approvals process or environmental compliance.
- Working knowledge of applicable environmental legislation, regulatory permits and approvals, bylaws, environmental best management practices.
- Considerable knowledge in environmental protection and regulatory compliance.
- Works independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team setting.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
