**Hiring**:Permanent Position, Full-time (35-40hrs/week)

Biologica is a growing family-owned and operated Canadian aquatic biomonitoring company, located in Victoria, BC. We are a close-knit team of biologists and technicians whose primary focus is the identification of organisms collected from a variety of aquatic habitats in support of environmental monitoring initiatives. **About the Role**:
The Project Manager will play a crucial and supportive role for the CEO and Management Team. As part of the leadership team, they will be required to be strategic, transparent, and committed to the continual improvement of the business and relationships with colleagues and clients. In addition, they should be detail-oriented, demonstrate precision with the English language, and be highly organized and adaptable.
Duties of the Project Manager will include managing client relationships, being an intermediary to laboratory operations and sales/finance, acting as the conduit of information from the client to the laboratory, and assist with the timely delivery of high quality and accurate data. The functions include preparation of quotes; providing clients information on analytical options and various supports; professional communications with clients regarding completed, current, and new work; responsible for building and developing Biologica’s scope and marketing; providing additional support to staff through mentorship.
**Additional responsibilities, not limited to**:
- Client communications regarding upcoming and in-progress projects;
- Preparation of proposals and other written materials;
- Ensuring client needs are met by anticipating and discussing issues and options;
- Preparation of quotes through discussion of project requirements with clients;
- Approval, Tracking, and sending of invoices;
- Monitor project budgets.
**Required Skills and Abilities**:
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience with project coordination, management, and/or client services
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or diploma in Environmental Science/Technology
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently, and multi-task while maintaining timelines
- Experience collaborating with a leadership team
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the position
- A proven self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment, and finds new ways to contribute and innovate
