**Emelle’s Catering is looking for delivery drivers to join our team**

**We are looking for**
- Part time 10-15 hours per week
- Full time 30-40 hours per week
- Evenings & Weekends

**Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities**:

- Delivers foods to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
- Client facing position
- establishing and maintaining outstanding relations with customers.
- Contacts customers to confirm delivery details & access when necessary.
- Follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries and conducts safety reviews.
- Maintains daily delivery logs and records.
- Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
- Reviews and verifies packing list to ensure accuracy.

**Delivery Driver Skills / Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes an asset.

**Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable driving large cargo van or similar

**Daily tasks**:

- Review daily schedule.
- Pack and prepare orders for departure.
- Put away equipment following delivery
- Pack new orders & events
- Maintain van, clean, gas and empty as necessary
- Stay up to date on inventory levels

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
