Girls Soccer Technical Lead

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of Football the Girls Technical Lead - U8 to U18 (GTL) is accountable for the technical development of our U8 to U18 Girls’ players and coaches, and through that development, ensures that our athletes and coaches want to continue to play and coach for as long as possible. The GTL is the first point of contact for, and is in charge of, U8-18 age groups, overseeing these age groups at practices and games throughout the season. The GTL performs technical and administration work daily in communication with coaches, managers, parents and players and is responsible for the Age Group Technical Coordinators (AGTC’s) on the girls side of the club.

**Success in the role will be measured, in part, on the following**:

- An increase in registration numbers for season, academy and summer camps;
- Overall technical development of players and coaches in the specific age groups;
- Coach satisfaction in specific age groups.

**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:

- Create curriculum for coach development section on club website for Girls U8-18 age groups;
- Form all teams from Girls U8-18 in collaboration with Director of Football and Registrar;
- Staff coach at Academy sessions - Fall, Winter, Spring and camps in Summer;
- Provide input and support for Academy programs and curriculum within their age groups;
- Metro tryouts assessor and lead for Girls side;
- Responsible for Age Group Technical Coordinators U8-18 age groups;
- Other associated duties as required; and
- Participate in additional roles and initiatives within the club which may arise from time to time.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Minimum CSA Children’s Licence, CSA Youth Licence and/or CSA/Concacaf B Diploma
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a youth club environment in a senior technical role

**Hours of Work**:
Approximately 30 hours per week with a combination of Administration and on-field work (Academy, Technical Lead). Based on scheduling requirements the daily hours of work may be scheduled as a Split Shift.

**Salary**:
Range of $55,000-$65,000 less Statutory and other required deductions, paid in equal semi-monthly payments for both the on-fieldwork and administrative work.

*individual team coaching is expected in addition to this role and will be compensated separately (in addition to the salary above).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
