**PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN**:

**Assembly & Testing**:
- Assemble, wire, test, and calibrate electronic products according to established production procedures.
- Work with potting material for the purpose of waterproofing the product.Conduct thorough testing and quality control to ensure the functionality and performance of each unit.
**Troubleshooting**:
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during the production process.Collaborate with the R&D team to implement improvements and address recurring problems.
**Documentation**:Maintain detailed records of production activities, test results, and any issues encountered. Assist in updating and revising production manuals and procedures.
**Collaboration**:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new features and improvements.
**Process Optimization**:Continuously seek opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs. Implement and document process enhancements in collaboration with the engineering team.

**Competencies**:
**Technical Proficiency**:Strong technical background in electronics, preferably with experience in underwater acoustics or related fields. Familiarity with PCB assembly, soldering, and other electronic manufacturing processes.
**Problem-Solving Skills**:Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Critical thinking and analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
**Attention to Detail**:Meticulous in following production procedures and maintaining accurate records. High level of precision in assembly and testing processes.
**Communication**:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Skills, Qualifications and Key Accomplishments
**Must-haves**: Post-secondary education in Electronics preferred or equivalent. Minimum one year experience soldering RoHS electronic components. Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Excellent computer skills.
**Nice-to-haves**:
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 standards is an asset.
