Project Manager

**_Description: _**
- As a Project Manager you will support projects that span multiple disciplines within our organization in order to deliver high quality and sustainable solutions to our clients. _
- Your experience in the industry and/or consulting, as well as your project and people skills will enable you to make a difference in our industry and inspire new and better ways to implement engineering and water management solutions. _

**_Responsibilities: _**
- _Develop and execute activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping, and progress reports. _
- _Build, strengthen and maintain client relationships. _
- _Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables. _
- _Effectively manage multiple projects for various discipline groups. _
- _Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed both client and internal expectations by implementing a deliverable quality assurance review appropriate to the project size and scope. _
- _Work logically and systematically, with good time management. _
- _Identify and assemble project teams to meet project requirements. _
- _Communicate with clients, internal team members and support services to ensure alignment. _
- _Proactively define and mitigate overall project risk through interaction with the project team and clients. _
- _Actively participate in business development activities. _
- _Coach and mentor team members. _
- _Support the development of cost estimate and schedules for project deliverables. _

**_Position Qualifications: _**
- _Prior experience in a project management role. _
- _Professional designation or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists of British. Columbia (EGBC) and/or the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta _
- (APEGA) is an asset. _
- _Technical background in planning, design, and construction of water and/or wastewater infrastructure in a related discipline is an asset. _

**_Requirements: _**
- _Excellent project management skills including development and management of client relationships, scopes, budgets, and schedules. _
- _Flexibility and the ability to manage change with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. _
- _Experience with conflict management and resolution. _
- _Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects with a proactive approach and a high level of attention to detail. _
- _Industry experience in mining or construction is an asset. _
- _Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Projects, 4castplus) is an asset. _
- _Ability to identify and handle risks and opportunities on construction projects. _
- _Detailed knowledge of construction methodology, processes, and sequence. _
- _Strong financial knowledge and understanding of construction market costs of labour and resources; experience with lump sum and construction management contracts preferred. _
- _Experience with Civil earthworks designs related to stormwater reservoirs, earthen structures, small and large earthen dams, surface water management, roadways, underground piping, and site grading. _
- _Experience with preparation of clear and comprehensive reports, construction execution plans, technical notes and client presentations. _
- _Experience with geotechnical design and analysis, using slope stability software. _
- _Must have strong written and verbal English communication skills. _
- _Perform site visits and conduct fieldwork with a focus on safety. _
- _Experience in preparing and reviewing technical reports. _
- _Legally able to work in Canada. _
