The Strategic Policy and Initiatives Branch is responsible for strategic policy, intergovernmental relations, international education and quality assurance related to the post-secondary education system in British Columbia. The Branch liaises with public post-secondary institutions and external stakeholders in the post-secondary education sector and works closely with other branches and divisions in the Ministry, other ministries, provinces, and the federal government on matters related to its responsibilities.

**Job Requirements**:

- Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).
- Experience with financial policies and accounting procedures including expenditures, revenues, accruals and fiscal year-end reporting.
- Experience in contract administration.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

- Experience in a public sector environment.
