Dream Unlimited is always looking for the best and brightest to join its thriving community. Dream’s Saskatoon Land team is growing, and is currently looking for a **Land Development Manager **who will participate and/or lead the management of land development projects through the planning, design, and approval phases. In addition this role will provide project management for engineering and construction activities to prepare land for market and subsequent vertical construction.

**What will you do?**

Below are a few of the primary responsibilities this entails, we can discuss them all in more detail when we meet:

- Direct & manage consultants to ensure the efficient design & construction of Dream’s master planned communities;
- Facilitate the delivery of building lots and land to builders by overseeing design, timely approvals, and completion within approved schedules and budgets;
- Prepare opinions of probable costs, budgets and cash flows for various development stages; monitor same and report any variances or issues to General Manager and/or Accounting Manager;
- Schedule regular site meetings with consultants and contractors to coordinate activity and ensure that established construction schedules are followed;
- Coordinate all construction activities to ensure work is completed in a timely fashion and within the contract amount;
- Obtain approval for and execute change orders and contract revisions for any unforeseen extras that may be required;
- Coordinate legal survey site work with the development schedule for the project/phase;
- Coordinate all post construction and maintenance activity to facilitate the timely receipt of all Construction Completion Certificates and Final Acceptance Certificates;
- Foster proactive communication with municipal officials, industry representative and public groups to be aware of public policy issues, market trends and issues affecting the development of projects;
- Work closely with external and internal planners to ensure the lot product being produced meets market demand;
- Attend subdivisions on a regular basis to review and inspect overall conditions, assess damages and deficiencies, determine relevant and appropriate actions required and implement same;
- Assist the General Manager in sales, marketing and administration efforts as required;
- Assist in architectural administration duties as required;
- Ensure all land holdings are properly maintained and obligations kept current;
- Address any homeowner and/or builder concerns in a timely fashion;
- Liaise with other Dream Land Development and Income Properties Divisions to maximize knowledge sharing and idea exchanges.

**What type of experience do you have?**

- We ask that you have a post-secondary engineering educational background. Will consider Project Management or Construction Coordination background with land development experience.
- 5+ years applicable work experience in area related to land development and engineering,, with understanding of subdivision development and engineering requirements/processes (servicing, grading, stormwater management, etc.).
- Experience with municipal planning processes for master planned communities is desired
- Presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite.
- Strong project management skills.
- You’ve got a set of wheels and a valid Class 5 driver’s license in the province of Saskatchewan.
- We expect you to be proactive and have creative problem solving skills.
