**About the Opportunity**:
The Secretary is accountable and responsible for providing administrative/secretarial support with mínimal supervision/direction. The Secretary is responsible for efficient prioritization of multiple responsibilities to meet the requirements of the department(s) utilizing initiative, judgement and knowledge in a highly confidential setting. The Secretary will support the VG site portfolio, including cancer care, transplant and acute inpatient services. This includes support for overall portfolio including managers and other portfolio staff.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12 plus one year recognized office administration, secretarial, or business course
- One year related secretarial experience
- Knowledge of SAP, PeopleSoft/Manager Self Service, E-recruit, and Time Capture
- Medical terminology preferred
- Typing speed of 60 wpm
- Experience in taking and transcribing minutes
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills that incorporate sound judgment and tact
- Must be self-directed and adept at problem-solving while working with mínimal supervision
- Must have strong organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to prioritize upon short notice while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Long Assignment, Full Time; 70 hours bi-weekly
- Approximately 18 months

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.25 - $22.50 Hourly
