**Grow Team Specialist**

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full-Time

**Location**: Wentworth Valley, Nova Scotia

**Schedule**: Onsite, Monday to Friday 8AM - 4PM with the occasional weekend shift if needed

**Growth**:Opportunities to advance within the Grow team or other departments as you develop skills and opportunities become available

**Total Compensation**:

- **Salary**:Starting at $**19.50** per hour with annual raises or increases based on performance or promotions
- **Vacation**:3**weeks vacation + **5** personal days
- **Health and Dental Benefits**:Available after 3 months of employment, 50/50 cost sharing
- **RRSP Matching**: Up to **5%,** available after 3 months of employment

**Breathing Green Solutions** is expanding, and we’re looking for a **Grow Team Specialist**to join our team In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the health and growth of our plants to ensure high-quality, high-yield harvests. From plant care activities to cleaning and sanitizing, you’ll play a crucial role in growing our specialized product.

Located in the clean, cool forests of Nova Scotia's Cobequid Mountains, **Breathing Green Solutions is Nova Scotia's first licensed cannabis producer**. Our proprietary **PurePlant** growing method allows us to deliver the most pristine, reliable, and trustworthy cannabis products to our patients and customers everywhere. **Your new role**

As a Grow Team Specialist, you will collaborate with a well-established team of growers where you will showcase your cultivation expertise and passion for the cannabis industry. With focus on hands-on plant care to ensure optimal health, steady growth, and high-yield harvests your responsibilities will include:

- Mixing and amending soil
- Transplanting plants
- Pruning, De - leafing and other plant care techniques
- Harvesting
- General housekeeping of production areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, pots, trays, etc.
- Adhering to strict sanitation and other quality processes

You will be required to wear standard PPE (scrubs, lab coat, and masks) while working and could be responsible to assist other divisions with their tasks (i.e.: Packaging, cleaning, etc.)

**What You Need to Succeed - Qualifications**
- A general passion for plants, gardening and cannabis
- An intuitive, nurturing approach with an understanding of plant growth, plant health and plant productivity
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and follow directions within warm, well lit and ripe fragrant work environments
- Physically capable to stand for periods of time and lift packages (typically 20-30 lbs., occasionally up to 60 lbs. as well as work in tight spaces
- Have reliable transportation to our facility in Wentworth
- Possess a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Are an organized, clean, and committed person who can maintain strict sanitation processes
- Proven commitment to be a dependable employee with ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to follow instructions and quality procedures
