**Veterinary Receptionist**

**Qualifications**
- At least 1-2 years of previous customer service experience in a veterinary setting is _**required.**_
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) is _**required.**_
- Must be tech savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with **Avimark** is an asset, but not required.
- Dependability - as part of a small team, you are counted on to help things run smoothly and help support your colleagues
- Strong communication skills over the phone and in person.
- An open mind-set with the passion to professionally develop
- Must love animals Your love for pets should shine through in your care for their humans whether it's over the phone or in-person
- A sincere interest in the veterinary field and a desire to learn as much as possible to best assist clients and pets.
- The desire to cross train and assist the care team in other areas of the practice
- The ability to juggle the bustle of a busy office. Answering phones, triaging patients, assisting clients in person and rocking it as a team member, all at the same time
- Confidence in the skills you possess while remaining humble enough to know that no one has ALL of the answers. When you are confident, clients are confident in you

**Hours & Availability**
- Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
- Sundays: Closed
- **Some rotating Saturday availability is required**

**Compensation**

Your superior customer service skills and professionalism will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary of **$17-$20 per hour**, dependent upon education and/or experience. In addition to competitive pay, other full-time benefits include:
