**Foundation Assistant** - Department:_ Foundation - Port Perry - Program:_ Port Perry Foundation - Status:_ Regular Part Time Days - 8 Hour Shifts (Subject to Change) Lakerdge Health Foundation - Port Perry **Salary**: $22.00 hourly Vacancy: 2400004003 BACKGROUND: Lakeridge Health (LH) is one of the largest community hospital systems in Ontario with five hospitals in Durham Region, including LH Port Perry. Port Perry Hospital Foundation is committed to raising funds to support LH Port Perry capital projects, equipment purchases and other enhancements which have a direct impact on current and future patient care. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Foundation Assistant is a permanent part-time position. As a member of a small, flexible team, the Foundation Assistant will play a supportive role in many aspects of the day-to-day operation and success of the Foundation, with a primary focus on donation processing and data administration. DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES Data processing and database administration including but not limited to: " Donation processing " Data management: query and report development, and analysis " Data integrity and documenting processes " Memorial giving program Also support and assist with the following: " Involvement in the preparation and execution of fundraising events " Donor stewardship events and activities " General content and design for social media and other communication vehicles. " Help keep PPHF website maintained and relevant. " Ad hoc research " Other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS " Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, with advanced education preferred " Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as internet browser " Experience and/or aptitude with CRM/Donor Management systems, ideally Raisers Edge " Proficient in written and oral communications, including grammatical form. ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED " Prior experience in the charitable sector " Customer service " Event coordination " Experience in Canva, social media, and website QUALITIES: " Commitment to the mission and goals of Port Perry Hospital Foundation " A flexible attitude and keen willingness to step in and help with all functions of the Foundation " Ability to work independently and as part of a team " Ability to balance competing priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress. " A personable nature; comfortable conversing with supporters " Demonstrated tact and diplomacy in dealing with all stakeholders " Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality WORKING CONDITIONS: " In office at Port Perry Hospital Foundation at Lakeridge Health Port Perry, 451 Paxton St, Port Perry Ontario " The position is based on 0.60 FTE (22.5 hrs over 3 days per week).
