Inside Account Sales

JOB SUMMARY:
Inside Sales is primarily responsible for the daily management of customer accounts. Inside Sales also serves as the liaison between the customer and departments maintaining effective communication and continued sales growth. Occasional travel to meet with the customer is necessary.
Responsible for day-to-day assistance, relating to any and all customer issues. Interacts with Account Managers, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Shipping, Merchandising, Marketing, Quality, Accounting.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to**:
Including but not limited to sales including all aspects of cataloging, new item set up, line review; stocking and stock adjustments, consolidation, maintenance, pricing discrepancies; shipping, cross dock and special order; backorder review; marketing programs, customer web support, collateral and industry data; quality; warranty issues; continuous improvement initiatives; accounting credit and/or payment issues; category training; testing equipment; meeting and communication liaison between all departments and account.
- Sales growth and new customer development
- Monitor and answer phone calls pertaining to Customer Service
- Input verbal, fax and EDI transmitted orders as required
- Monitor customer orders, including back orders
- Schedule order shipments to ensure accurate delivery times
- Provide quotations as requested, according to Company margin guidelines
- Maintain Customer quote file as required.
- Collect Competitor information as it pertains to pricing, new products, cross reference etc.
- Disperse calls to technical representative as required.
- Relate all special customer requests and or concerns to Manager of Customer Service
- Request training as required on order entry system.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
