St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting for a Full Time, Probationary, Educational Assistant 2 (EA2) for a work assignment at Bellerose Composite High School supporting student learning in CTS Construction and Framing classes.
More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.
**Hours of Work**: 30 hrs. /week; 6.0 hrs. /day; Monday-Friday; Full-Time, Probationary
**Hourly Rate**: $22.92 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
**Specific Needs/Requirements for this position**:
Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred
Experience working with students at the high school level is an asset
Experience working in a construction trade, working with construction tools, equipment, safety procedures, as well as an aptitude for woodworking
Working with students with various learning and behavioural needs is an asset
Experience with providing social, emotional, and behavioural supports is preferred
A coachable individual who has experience in a team environment
Patience, reliability and organizational skills
First Aid training is an asset

Experience related to the position
