St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Full-Time, Temporary, Educational Assistant 1 for work assignments at Wild Rose Elementary School.
More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.
Hours of Work : 30.0 hrs. /week; 6.0 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Full-Time, Temporary
Hourly Rate: $21.98 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:
- Experience implementing positive behavior support plan strategies required
- Experience implementing ILP and IPP goals
- Verbal Intervention Training is an asset
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training is an asset
- Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred
- Experience using assistive technology an asset
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team an asset
- Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset
