General Labourer

**Job Title**: General Labour / Assembler

**Job Type**: Full-Time

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking **General Labourer / Assembler** to join our team in **Sidney, BC**. This role involves hands-on assembly, installation, and setup of various equipment and furniture in warehouse and commercial settings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble shelves, 7’ high racks, metal carts, wooden tables with metal ties, furniture, and pick carts.
- Use of force may be required to lift and fit components.
- Measure and mark floors using high-resistivity industrial tape (requires crouched work).
- Install sticker signs on racks, floors, and other surfaces.
- Hang banners with accurate measurement and placement using ladders or scissor lifts.
- Organize and place items into modules as per instructions.
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain and clean work area before and after tasks.
- Use of measuring tools: tape measure, laser level, chalk line.
- Operate small hand tools: screwdrivers, Allen keys, cordless drills, utility knives, etc.
- Operate power tools: arming drills, anchor drills, rubber hammers.

**Requirements**:

- **1-2 years of experience** in general labour, assembly, moving, handyman work, or a related role.
- Comfortable working in crouched positions, on ladders, and handling physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety-conscious and reliable.

**Assets (Not Required)**:

- Experience using scissor lifts (valid certification a bonus).
- Previous work in warehouse or industrial environments.

**Schedule**:

- Full-time hours
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime or weekend work as needed
