Bartender/bar Manager

**Company Background**
Britannia Brewing is a local brewery, taphouse + eatery with a focus on craft beer and modern west coast cuisine. We are a 90 seat location in the heart of Ladner Village and are currently looking for a talented and detail oriented Bartender.
**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the bar manager in the day-to-day operations of bar team
- Maintaining bar inventory - ordering and receiving of product where needed
- Training of bar staff
- Developing of seasonal and new cocktails
- Maintaining a high level of drink quality in accordance with company standards and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Solving guest complaints when needed
- Carrying out accurate end-of-night procedures and duties
- Communicating regularly and effectively with the Restaurant Director and Head Chef
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff, in compliance to all local and provincial health guidelines
- Promoting teamwork through effective feedback and communication
- Maintaining positive vendor relations
**Working Conditions**
- Hours and shifts may vary according to business levels. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and Holidays is required.
- Work is performed in a fast-past restaurant/bar environment
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of bartending experience in a professional full-service restaurant/bar environment
- Serving It Right
- Food Safe Level (can be provided)
- Exceptional customer-service skills
- Strong knowledge of food, craft beer, cocktails and wine required (WEST or ISG a bonus)
- Experience in leading and supporting a team
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in bar menu development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
