**Job Description**:
As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of all activities related to the maintenance of equipment and buildings in a context of continuous improvement and cost optimization.

More specifically, you will:

- Ensure the implementation of the strategies and means used in the business plan to satisfy internal and external clients
- Ensure the safety and protection of the company’s physical property as well as corrective and preventive maintenance in a reliability approach
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate all maintenance engineering and planning for strategic areas in a continuous improvement environment, including related administrative activities, all tied to the maintenance schedule
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the installation, maintenance, and repair of building infrastructure, including wheeled and stationary equipment, and mechanical and electrical systems
- Plan and manage the department’s budget and CAPEX budget
- Monitor and ensure compliance with laws governing industrial facilities as well as maintenance and certification requirements
- Ensure the development of the team, their management, their needs in terms of training or coaching
- Complete performance and development reviews for management staff of the department
- Ensure that maintenance department superintendents understand the importance of Davie's work culture, particularly as it relates to HSE, and provide the necessary support to their team to promote this culture in daily operations
- Implement, with the Health, Safety and Environment departments, any procedure or routine to protect the environment on a daily basis.

**Qualifications**:

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a technical degree with several years of experience
- Have a general knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Have technical knowledge of the structure and use of the equipment
- Detain a minimum of 5 years of experience in personnel management
- Demonstrate relevant achievements and experience in continuous improvement
- Experience in planning and managing large-scale projects
- Bilingualism required (French and English)
- Good computer skills, specifically MS Office suite and CMMS software

Additional Information

In order to be selected, it is mandatory that you successfully undergo and pass the investigation and security clearance process required by the Federal Government’s Contract Security Program.
