**Position**:
GlassMasters is looking for an Assistant Manager for our Edmonton location. In this role, you will be responsible for customer service, sales, operations, personnel leadership and ensure all targets are met or exceeded for GlassMasters.

**Responsibilities**:
**Sales**
- Maintain exceptional customer service.
- Understands the importance of managing receivables; provides daily monitoring of store performance.
- Develop and implement plans to increase market share and profitability to align with objectives.
- Assists in leading account retention activity and relationships.
- Ability to service existing accounts through account management/account retention.
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships.
- Responds to customer feedback received.
- Comfortable prospecting new accounts (dealerships, body shops, fleets) via cold calls, account visits etc.
- Effectively communicate and sell our products and services to new and existing accounts
- windshield/tempered glass replacements, rock chips, mobile service, P&D service, online dashboard etc.
- Oversees and monitors location financial performance.
- Delivers feedback to the Branch Manager and Regional Manager about how store is delivering on GlassMasters expectations.
- Highlights where improvements are needed based on interactions with staff and customers.
- Tracks store KPI’s; assists in coaching initiatives to achieve targets and provides feedback to improve performance.
- Translates company expectations into actionable sales plans and tactics.
- Develops deep understanding of the autoglass market by monitoring competitor activity and networking.
- Assists with sales, cost of sales and labour targets.

**Operational**
- Ensures location follows Company procedures and processes (banking, vehicle inspections, lot walks, warranties, inventory counts, write-offs, etc.).
- Completes store walks.
- Assists in monitoring financial performance of location.
- Timely completion of financial, personnel and operations record keeping.
- Ensures all stores present professionally, store appearance & frontage, staff presentation, phone answering, order processing etc.
- Assumes ownership of customer complaints when escalated via store or online; ensures positive resolution and customer retention.
- Is heavily involved with inventory management process; participates in monthly inventory counts and makes physical inventory adjustments where necessary. Inventory counts for store to follow standard GlassMasters schedule.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures.

**People**
- Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with Head Office department, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Understands the importance of building a strong team to improve overall success of store.
- Assists and monitors operational staffing levels; discusses headcount changes to optimize sales opportunities in location; rotates staff when needed.
- Provides effective liaison between store operations and head office, to improve awareness, understanding and positive team dynamics.
- Assists with planning and conducting interviews for store positions when needed.
- Establishes and develops a strong relationship with staff through recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and coaching.
- Coaches and mentors’ staff by sharing best practices for operations, sales, and business development ideas.
- Assists Branch Manager with under-performing sales staff; develops plans and coaches for improved performance.

**Requirements**:

- Holds a Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrates an outstanding work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Has at least 1-3 years retail experience.
- Can juggle multiple priorities with a can-do attitude.
- Has a proven track record of surpassing targets.
