**The Vape SuperStore chain is adding staff for our new Airdrie location for a full-time role.** **Job Description for Full-Time Sales Associates.** **Hours of Work: 40hours/week. Alternating weekends off, with a variety of shift options available during the week.** **Hours of Operation: Full days are 10am-9pm shifts & Sundays Noon-9pm** We an energetic individual who loves the vibe of retail stores. We have a huge variety of responsibilities so you will never be bored. In this role you will interact with our others stores to discuss products, promotions, marketing trends etc. across the country. This position is so much more than just a retail sales associate for the right individual. We offer above average compensation with bonus plans. You must have a good understanding of vaping and be able to demonstrate products. You will also have above average written communication skills in the English language and a solid background in social media including posting to Instagram, Facebook, and others - or have a passion to learn how online marketing works **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**: - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE - Greeting and engaging customers while educating them on products and features - Requires a good understanding of vaping industry with a strong focus on learning and remembering large inventory selections. We have a huge inventory for this role to learn and understand. - Close sales on products, e-juices and accessories - Maintain organized displays, stock with inventory, receiving product and periodic inventory counts. - Maintain a clean and orderly work environment - Responsible for digital marketing campaigns, social media updates, merchandising displays - Responsible for Opening/Closing procedures for the store if your shift is during those times. - Stocking and merchandising product including scheduled inventory counts - Handle & safeguard cash/inventory - Customer resolution skills - Keep updated and educated on the reviews/comments/concerns expressed on line about any Brand/Product our location carries in order to address those comments from customers. This action item is to be done during "quieter" periods in the store and is considered to be a key part of this position. **Mandatory Skills Required All Staff**: - Professional attitude towards customer service with a proven track record working in retail, hospitality or other service industries. We enforce a business casual dress code. - Mathematical aptitude, strong English written skills and computer skills are mandatory - A good understanding of vaping at the beginner level is fine if you demonstrate the ability to learn. Ability to vape products such as salt nic is required in these positions. Additional pay: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay Schedule: - 10 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Overtime - Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: - Airdrie, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - You must have Vaping experience and experience in Cannabis accessories would be a plus - Must be able to work every second weekend **Experience**: - Vaping or Dispensary Sales: 2 years (required) - Retail sales: 3 years (required) Shift availability: - Day Shift (required) - Night Shift (required)
