Reporting to the Field Service Manager, in this role you will complete assigned TERAGO Networks Inc. customer and network installations and complete service activations as required to support Field Operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for completing new customer and network installations on rooftops. This includes but is not limited to fixed wireless radio and mount hardware assembly, installation, equipment hauling and service activation.
- Review and prepare installation equipment and tools prior to arriving onsite to complete TERAGO’s physical installations.
- Assist with hub maintenance in accordance with TERAGO’s Maintenance program where needed.
- Support local Field Service Manager in completing assigned customer and network site maintenance activities in accordance with TERAGO standards.
- Flexible to work various shifts: days, evenings, and weekends, to meet business needs
- Complete day-to-day work in compliance with TERAGO’s Health and Safety policy.
- Attempt test and turn-up activities including completion of as-built drawings and archiving of test results.
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
- Maintaining accurate and timely timesheets.
- Managing the inventory management cycle and annual counts. Returning inventory that requires repair

**Education & Experience**:

- Minimum completion of High School diploma and/or relevant work experience.
- 1-2 years experience in cabling and/or rooftop hardware installation required.
- Telecommunications experience an asset.
- Possess a valid Driver's License. Will be required to submit driver’s abstract on a regular basis.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Knowledge of all standard cable types and terminations (i.e. Ethernet CAT5/6, LMR400, RG11)
- Ability to interpret schematics, manuals and manufacturer's instructions as required.
- Strong understanding of construction and electrical principles, practices, and requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clean organized individual with a passion to learn new skills and trades.
- Strong knowledge of computers and basic troubleshooting of internet connections.
- Basic networking knowledge
- Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills.
- Handle a physically demanding workload (up to 60 lbs.) which includes heavy lifting, climbing ladders/poles, crawling in confined spaces and working in all weather conditions
- Self-motivated, demonstrate effective decision-making skills and can work with limited supervision
- Dedicated and compassion individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in their work.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements.
- Current Working at Heights / WHMIS 2015 / Lift Operator certificates is an as asset (Training and certifications will be provided)
- Comfortable working on roof tops, tall buildings and structures.
- Be willing to work extra hours, weekends and holidays as needed (once or twice per month)
