Customer Service Associate

We are seeking a customer service associate.
**Job Duties**:
- Receiving and processing customer orders; involves communicating with customers, sales reps and warehouse staff
- Arranging shipping for customer orders
- Invoicing customer orders and processing payments
- Completing other administrative tasks relevant to customer orders (i.e. following up with vendors on product availability)
- Processing new customer registrations and onboarding new customers
- Reviewing and managing customer back orders
- Processing inventory receipts in company software; including completing and managing vendor credit claims
- Completing basic bookkeeping tasks as directed and supervised by office manager (i.e. inputting invoices and payments into software)
- Other customer service and office administration duties as required
Note: Majority of tasks will be performed in the company’s custom software and training will be provided
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Strong organizational aptitude, including effective time management, ability to multitask and a keen attention to detail
- Customer service oriented; eager to exceed customer expectations and interact in a positive and professional manner with customers
- Enjoys collaborating and working as part of a team but also able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Willingness to learn and maintain a curious mindset
- Self motivated to take initiative and improve processes and performance
**Required Experience**:
- Minimum 3 years experience in customer service and/or office administrative roles
- Computer proficiency and basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
**Work Schedule and Location**:
- Full time in office (Markham, Ontario - Warden Ave & Denison St)
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
