**About the role - Barista**:
A Barista is a professional who makes and serves beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages. They are also responsible for taking customer orders and payments, along with clean and sanitize their work areas and equipment/tools. Some more Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should also be able to work various shifts. Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent drinking experience for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Greeting customers as they enter the coffee shop Providing customers with drink menus and answering their questions regarding ingredients, etc.
- Taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
- Ensuring product quality and consistency throughout shift
- Handling shift duties that meet the expectations of the overall business mission, promise & values
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep the bar area clean
- Maintain stock of product and packaging
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

**About the role - Kitchen Crew**:
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces, if applicable)
- Prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow Shift Supervisors instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
