Graphic Design Assistant

**AUXILIUM HEALTH - SUPPORTING ALL ASPECTS OF PATIENT CARE**

**Current Opportunity**

We are looking for an administrative-savvy, creative and hard-working **Graphic Design Assistant **to join our team This is a full-time, contract position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday for a period of 12 months.

This position reports to and supports our Chief Operating Officer as well as other Director level staff with various projects.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Take product photos and edit
- Create and edit custom websites on Wix, Squarespace and Shopify and maintain when necessary
- Format and design presentations in PowerPoint
- Design various marketing materials (I.e. logos, flyers, letterhead, business cards, binders, brochures, invitations etc.)
- Create forms in Microsoft Word and convert to fillable PDF
- Format Operating Procedures, proposals and other official documents in Microsoft Word
- Submit and order design materials, as needed
- Design and setup installation of miscellaneous office design (I.e. window decals, logo signs, door signs, design trade booths etc.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proficient in Adobe Programs, such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, XD, Acrobat Pro
- Proficient in Microsoft programs, such as: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Google programs such as: Gmail, drive, docs, sheets will be considered an asset
- Experience in Wix, Squarespace and Shopify programs is considered an asset

**EDUCATION**
- Some experience in a Graphic Design or related College program is an asset

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Office environment, sitting at a desk, working at a computer
