Team Manager/operations Manager

**Core Duties and Responsibilities**
In this role, you will lead a team of highly skilled Paralegals and Legal Assistants within our Business Law team. You will work collaboratively with the Practice Group Lead, Director of Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service through workflow management and process optimization.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with employees and other stakeholders to coordinate proper resource allocation and workflow;
- Coaching, training, and mentoring a skilled team of Legal Assistants and Paralegals;
- Managing a team of 20+ individuals including scheduling, employee feedback, and performance management support;
- Delivering on practice team and firm objectives;
- Recommending and implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies;
- Leveraging outstanding interpersonal skills to foster and maintain successful and influential relationships with team members and various stakeholders; and,
- Supporting and providing operational insight into the hiring and onboarding process of new employees.

Qualifications and Skills*
**To be successful, you possess the following qualifications and skills**:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience;
- Direct experience in improvement initiatives whether small or large;
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to be patient, empathetic, and understanding;
- Passion for creating and fostering a culture of recognition;
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven organization skills;
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines;
- Critical thinking coupled with strong problem-solving skills;
- Excellent team player who contributes positively to the team culture; and,
- Superior computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
