Load pick ups, trailers and dump trucks with aggregate, mulch and soil.
- Ensure the correct quantity is loaded onto vehicles.

**OVERVIEW**:
Reporting to the Manager, the equipment operator is responsible for following instructions to complete different tasks associated with each job.

**SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
1. Taking ownership and responsibility of his functions within the organization and acting with authority.

2. Promoting a team approach within the operation.

3. Ensure each customer receives outstanding service;
4. Responsible for self-development and ensuring his knowledge is updated as required. (proactive in participating in training programs)

5. To work with the Manager with day to day operational concerns.

6. Ensuring courteous and prompt customer services both in the yard and while on site with customer.

7. Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed.

8. Ensuring that the equipment is well maintained, clean and inspections are completed each morning..

9. In event of an accident, follows established procedure.

10. Uses the other company equipment in a safe and cautious manner to protect people, equipment and merchandise.

11. Ensuring that all merchandise is properly secured to the vehicle.

12. Assists other yard staff during slow periods.

13. Ensuring that all safety concerns are brought to the attention of the Manager.

14. Advises the Manager of low inventory levels.

15. Other duties as assigned by management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
