**Position Purpose**:
Maintain warehouse documentation and lead efficient activity of movement of products into and out of the warehouse.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assign order(s) to be picked to Forklift/Order Pickers in priority sequence.
- Motivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks.
- Enforce and support Manager’s direction for assigning orders and warehouse operations.
- First contact point with staff for employee relations.
- First point of contact for safety or compliance items (spills, injury, damage).
- Active lead on onboarding and training of new warehouse staff per Onboarding Checklist.
- Execute transactions on client portal.
- Update WMS as a core responsibility.
- Prepare shipping documents, and as required pack and prepare orders of completion.
- Completion of inbound paperwork, including driver sign in process.
- Yard control, directing drivers to door.
- Prepare product for shipment by verifying location, and as required pack orders for outbound.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records: maintaining databases.
- Creates/completes cycle counts as required.
- Communication with carriers and dispatch.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
**Education/Training**:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalency certificate
- Forklift Operations Certificate

**Experience**:

- 3 + years in similar role

**Skills/Competencies**:

- Forklift Operator certificate
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of WMS
- Material handling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi task, prioritize, meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
