Quik's Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and 20 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space. Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA. We are currently hiring for a Farm Supervisor this is a full-time, 40 hour a week position that includes benefits and competitive wages.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work well independently _and_ as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid time-management and organizational skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to be resourceful and solve problems
- A keen eye for detail
- A commercial mindset
- Experience working with horticulture or floriculture industries is an asset
- A valid BC Driver’s License, Class 5
- Completion of high school and/or applicable post-secondary education

**Responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinate, assign and supervise the work of general farm workers
- Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
- Connect with cutting supervisor and crop planner for new crops
- Supervise, observe, and enforce procedures to maintain crop health and welfare
- Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
- Supervise maintenance of power supplies, equipment, and supplies
- Develop work schedules and determine safe work procedures
- Ensure farm safety, security and bio-security procedures are followed
- Maintain quality control and production records
- Train new employees as needed
- May perform general farm duties.
