Chilliwack, Canada The Farm Store Full time

**The Customer Service responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following**:

- Go the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
- Handle customer service inquiries and provide a positive customer experience.
- Offer exceptional customer service and be aware of customer needs.
- Ensure store is well stocked and presented.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
- Process cash register payments by cash, credit card, gift card and debit.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products offered in the Farm Store.
- Prepare lunch menu items adhering to recipes created and provided.
- Correctly and diligently fill out all Farm Store and kitchen related documents - par level sheets, prep sheets, log book, checklists, SOPs etc.
- Adhere to Food Safe principles at all times - temperature standards, FIFO, storage methods, etc.
- Alert the Store Supervisor when challenges arise with customers, equipment failure, and product shortages.
- Assist in the success of Farm Store and be an integral part of building happy and loyal customers.

**Qualifications**:
Cashier or customer service experience in a retail environment, grocery/produce store experience an asset.

Well organized with attention to details.

Able to interact with customers in a friendly and cheerful manner.

Able to work independently and as a member of a team.

Able to lift 30lbs (15kgs) boxes periodically throughout the day.

Food Safe Training is an asset but not required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
