Purpose of Role:_ _This temporary COOP position, spanning a four-month term from September to December 2025, is designed to support the development of a custom program that evaluates the material state of the Royal Canadian Naval Fleet. In this role, you will work with image-based artificial intelligence models, develop internal tools to streamline survey processes, and enhance quality assurance capabilities. Additionally, you will inspect 3D models of naval vessels to assess their operational readiness and may be called upon to assist with other projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:- Quality Assurance: Evaluate software program for operational readiness and user functionality.- Material state inspections: Able to maintain precision throughout multiple iterations of inspection and understand the differences between key items. A detailed orientated individual would be an asset in this role.- Collaborative Environment: Ability to contribute to optimizing user functionality of software program as well as discuss issues and propose potential solutions to client.- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Must be in a Software, Computer sciences or Electrical engineering bachelors. Minimum of 2 years of completed schooling experience.- Sufficient computer skills to become proficient with unique computer softwares.- Experienced with outputs delivered from Artificial Intelligence. Familiarity with image models would be considered an asset.- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.-
- Canadian citizenship, with 10 or more years residing in Canada with no periods longer than six continuous months out of country, is absolutely necessary as part of the requirements to obtain a government security clearance to the minimum level of Secret.
