**Job description**

**ABOUT US**
Central Compound Pharmacy is a specialty compounding pharmacy which specializing hazardous custom prescriptions that are challenging for community pharmacies to compound manufacture. Our pharmacy operates under NAPRA and GMP standards. We are located in Vancouver.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate and maintain the facility in compliance with NAPRA and GMP.
- Learn, understand and operate by NAPRA, GMP and stablished pharmacy SOPs.
- Undertake compounding and cleanroom operations.
- Competency with setting up and operating compounding equipment as well as maintenance as per SOP.
- Utilize manufacturing validation and qualification protocols, development reports, batch records, labels, SOPs, and applicable drug product sections as directed.
- Tracking, ordering, receiving, and managing pharmaceutical inventory (including narcotics and controlled substances) in compliance with regulatory and SOP requirements.
- Perform expiry checks and maintaining inventory logs.
- Report performance gaps and facilitate corrective actions.
- Report quality compliance issues or concerns.
- When requested, participate with manager in Quality Management System (QMS) tasks, including deviations, OOS investigations, risk assessments, and CAPAs.
- Performing routine and terminal cleaning of controlled areas per schedule and SOP
- Receiving materials into the pharmacy or cleanroom, including quarantine procedures.
- Verifying Certificates of Analysis, labeling, and assigning lot numbers as needed.
- Ensure that all Occupational Safety and Health Standards are followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
- Pharmacy Technician Diploma

**Salary**: $75,000 annually ($40 /hr) or a top-tier, experienced pharmacy technician with a strong track record in GMP compliance and sterile compounding performance
