As the Localization Program manager, you’ll oversee the localization efforts for several major clients. You’ll provide leadership to cross-functional localization teams managing internal and external stakeholders, project budgets, growth opportunities, and more. We’re looking for a strong leader who’s equally comfortable talking to teammates as they are talking to clients.

**This is a full-time remote role within North America (Canada/US)
Summa Linguae Technologies is a language and technology company that provides localization and data solutions. We help global companies make their products and services available in more languages, countries, and cultures across the globe. We have a diverse team of over 250 full-time team members working remotely or from one of our seven global locations —Canada, the USA, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, India, and our company headquarters in Poland.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing multiple external clients and their overall program health
- Scheduling projects and defining resource needs for assigned projects
- Coordinating efforts with cross-functional teams such as engineering, DTP, QA Leads
- Leading, motivating, onboarding, and developing team members
- Ownership of client satisfaction and program development
- Managing and mitigating project escalations
- Identifying goals and performance for team members
- Reporting on the health and growth potential of a program
- Identifying new client opportunities and input into proposals
- Managing program financials

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years experience managing localization client accounts
- 4+ years people management experience
- Experience in websites, software, elearning, subtitles, InDesign, and wearable devices
- Equipped with the skills to attend client discovery meetings
- Proficient in translation memory tools (Trados, SDLX, GlobalSight )
- Have experience with Translation Management Systems, such as SDL TMS
- Have proven abilities in project planning, resource management, and risk management
- Good communicator in written and spoken English

**Bonus qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (localization, business, linguistics, or with equivalent experience)
- Experience in designing solutions for customers, interest in technologies and/or marketing
- Fluency in non-English language
- Ability to create macros or other task automations
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, lookup tables, etc.)
