Distribution Center Manager

As we continue to dominate the aftermarket space, we are looking to grow our warehouse team and adding a Distribution Center Warehouse Manager to help us get product out the door This role will be located in Langley's Gloucester Industrial Park just off Hwy #1.

**Job Summary**:
The Distribution Center Warehouse Manager entails several duties, tasks, and responsibilities in ensuring safe, effective, and efficient movement of materials. This position works within their department, managing and leading their team to ensure an effective daily workflow within the warehouse operations and other duties to maintain a safe and organized work environment for their department and team.

**Job Duties**:

- Manage inbound and outbound items
- Manage warehouse staff / drivers
- Control Inventory Counts
- Enforce all Safety Rules
- Load, unload, lift, and stack inbound or outbound materials.
- Use warehouse equipment to ensure accurate and efficient receipt, shipment, or movement of materials.
- Unloading, building, picking, and packing pallets.
- Move, stack, load, and unload materials to and from various warehouse locations throughout the facility using the material handling equipment certified to operate.
- Perform quality checks on inbound or outbound goods.
- Coordinate schedules for inbound and outbound shipments with warehouse team.
- Coordinate with Freight Management and/or Carriers for the pick-up of outbound orders.
- Organize, compile, or input inbound and outbound shipping documents to be utilized as support for receipt, shipment, billing, or vendor payments.
- Execute the loading/unloading of shipments from the carriers’ trailers/containers.
- Verify the accuracy of the physical goods received to receiving documents such as bill of ladings.
- Participate in root cause analyses to identify issues when necessary.

**Experience**:

- Certified in the safe and efficient operation of one or more of the following types of material handling equipment: Sit Down Forklift, Stand Up Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Swing-lift.
- RF Scanner and Bin system knowledge
- Ability to interact professionally with all personnel at levels both internal and external.
- Ability to work at heights exceeding 20 feet.
- Use the proper fall protection when using any equipment that lifts the operator in the air
- Working knowledge of warehouse & distribution operations including inbound, inventory control, and outbound operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of Radio Frequency technology including R.F. gun navigation preferred.

**Education**:

- High School diploma or G.E.D preferred.
- 1-2 years of working experience in complex warehouse & distribution environment

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. without the use of material handling equipment. Job may require physical lifting, moving, stacking, and packing of materials.
- Must be flexible to work overtime.

Pay: From $68,500.00 per year
