Project & Construction Operation Manager - Residential

_**Position Summary**:_
As the Construction Operations Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of residential construction projects from mobilization through to occupancy. You will be responsible for leading site operations, coordinating field teams and trades, enforcing quality and safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. Working closely with project managers, consultants, and municipal authorities, you’ll play a critical role in the execution and delivery phase of our residential developments.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
Oversee day-to-day field operations across multiple residential construction sites
Develop and manage construction schedules, resource plans, and site logistics
Coordinate the work of site supervisors, trades, and subcontractors to maintain efficient progress
Enforce high standards of workmanship, site safety, and compliance with building codes
Monitor project budgets, labor costs, and material usage to ensure operational efficiency
Work collaboratively with the design and development teams to ensure constructability and resolve field issues
Lead weekly site meetings, track progress reports, and proactively identify and mitigate delays
Ensure quality control procedures are implemented and maintained throughout all stages of construction
Manage site inspections and interface with municipal officials to ensure code and permit compliance
Review construction documents, track change orders, and oversee implementation on site
Maintain accurate and up-to-date site documentation, including logs, reports, and safety records
Complete site runs for supplies as needed
- **Qualifications**:_
Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in residential construction field operations is preferred
Proven leadership experience in managing site crews and trade partners
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and safety protocols
Familiarity with construction management tools such as Procore, Buildertrend, or MS Project is an asset
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
Knowledge of Alberta Building Code and local permitting requirements is an asset
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites as needed

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
