**THE OPPORTUNITY**

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the assistant will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and provide support to registered Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists. The assistant will perform functions that support the efficient functioning of inpatient and outpatient services, including administering therapy treatments and performing general tasks related to the organization and maintenance of the department.**

Job Requirements:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Graduate from a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant program
- Related previous experience or sound knowledge of the rehabilitation assistant role
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the members of the interdisciplinary team
- A commitment to developing an individual’s optimum level of independence, restoring function and maintaining ability
- Evidence of self-direction and flexibility in your work approach
- Commitment to life-long learning and professional development
- Regular and punctual attendance is a requirement for this position
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history

**PREFERENCE**
- Previous experience working in an inpatient Rehab, CCC setting
- Previous experience working with the geriatric population
- Seating experience would be an asset

- Fluency in both English and French

Casual Permanent. Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to
