THIS IS A TRAVEL POSITION. We have multiple contracts around the province and require guards to travel to the events. All expenses such as milage, food, and hotels are paid for. Our first contract begins late June.
**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems and report any suspicious activities.
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security protocols.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks or theft.
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
