Responsibilities ;
The line cook at The Bridge is responsible for preparing his or her station before the start of each service. The line cook must make sure that all the supplies that will be needed for the day/night are available and ready for use. You will be asked to prep food for service each day, chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing soups and/or sauces as well as preparing the items requested from your or your co-worker's station/area.

This requires working with other cooks in the kitchen. You are responsible for cleaning your station and will be asked to help other cooks clean up their stations, disposing of garbage, cleaning utensils, pots, and pans, and cleaning cooking surfaces.

You will also be asked to check and unload deliveries and store inventory correctly in pantries or walk-in refrigerators and freezers. Other duties you will be asked to perform would be, but not limited to; inventory, dishwashing, cleaning and arrange stock.

This position includes some heavy lifting, working in a hot environment It is high paced, and if it is not busy on the line or on the prep side, you will clean/organize and keep busy. You are a team worker with a good work ethic and love cooking
