Bridge Facility Services is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Controls Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in implementing a groundbreaking Building Operations Center (BOC).

**Position: Controls Specialist - Building Operations Center**

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize our Integrated Building Management Platform (IBMP) to monitor and troubleshoot integrated systems events.
- Provide remote support to regional field technicians for issue resolution.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for on-premises events, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Monitor and resolve events identified with Internet of Things (IoT) sensor deployments.
- Support Niagara N4 Virtual Machine (VM) BAS deployments and resolve associated issues.
- Bench test system and IoT devices, ensuring smooth field deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity infrastructure, working closely with our Managed Services Partner (MSP).
- Maximize IBMP tools for operational efficiency and sustainability goals.
- Lead the establishment and reporting of BOC outcomes, including financial perspectives and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Drive the expansion of the BOC program and team to other regions, collaborating with operational stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum five years' experience in a controls specialist role or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Niagara N4 certification is a plus.
- Trade Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) would be advantageous.
- Exposure to a variety of base building system types and manufacturers.
- Familiarity with IoT sensing platforms.
- Experience in Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) networking.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills.
- Ability to manage conflicts, navigate urgent situations, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized.
