As a Plant Supervisor, you are responsible for assisting in the hiring, training, and instructing department employees in their job functions in addition to working on the core functions of the position. As a supervisor you will assist in the planning and delegation of work assignments, orientation of new employees and set-up of tools, equipment, methods, and procedures in work areas. Leads employee discipline and performance discussions in collaboration with HR.

**Safety**
- Communicate, promote, and enforce Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and ensure adherence by staff.
- Administration of all required safety training.
- Incident/near miss/proactive event reporting.
- Participate in quarterly Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings.
**Operational Excellence**
- Adhere to daily production schedule, ensuring line efficiency is achieved and required output is met.
- Monitoring and reporting of Factory KPI’s.
- SOP development & Implementation.
- Quick win process improvement owner.
**Inventory**
- Daily review of Receipts, Production work orders and movements.
- Coordination & Facilitation of Factory inventory counts.
- Participation in inventory reconciliations.
- Review and completion of Finance Month end inputs.
**Leadership**
- Responsible for the overall Supervision of Factory employees.
- Coordinate with Temp agency as needed for all temporary staffing needs.
- Maintain employee /attendance list and provide weekly to Payroll.
- Work closely with payroll and HR by reviewing and approving employee hours and PTO in the payroll system.
- Responsible for the PMP Process for Captains & Assistant Captains including goal setting, mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
- Work with management and HR to administer recognition, development and disciplinary actions related to staff.
- Responsible for administration of Training & Development within the factory for all local market requirements as well as acting as the Training Rep. collaborating with Global on all things related to L&D that are required.
**Requirements**:
**Experience and Expertise Requirements**:
- High School Graduate and equivalent and/or 3 to 5 years related experience.
- Radio Frequency Scanner experience.
- Warehouse Management system experience.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
- Must have a strong work ethic and leadership mindset.
- Must be knowledgeable in administrative/operational procedures such as work schedules, set-ups, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
- Should have strong written, verbal, people skills, and other technical skills to properly direct, assist, and train personnel.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office required specifically Power point and Excel.
- A clear criminal background check is required.
- Previous experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
