**Job Summary**

This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues, ensuring mínimal downtime.
- Supervise external contractors during maintenance projects to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant findings or recommendations to management.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing systems, hydronic systems, fire suppression systems, fire separation.
- Comfortable using power and hand tools
- Comfortable with ladders
- Extreme attention to detail
- Highly physical, bending, twisting, pulling
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and with external vendors.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who is ready to contribute their skills to maintain our clients facilities at optimal performance levels while ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Own transportation required
- Clean criminal record check required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week

**Experience**:

- Fire Code: 1 year (preferred)
- Facilities maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- Property Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- Residential landlord and tenant: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
