With over **30 years of excellence** and recognition as a **TTSAO-approved training provider**, Crossroads is known for doing things the right way. We’re growing, and we’re looking for an experienced **AZ Instructor** who takes pride in mentorship, safety, and professionalism.

**What You’ll Do**

As an AZ Instructor at Crossroads, you are shaping professionals, not just teaching skills. Your role blends hands-on instruction, mentorship, and accountability.

You will:

- Deliver practical, real-world AZ training that **meets and exceeds MELT requirements**:

- Provide clear instruction and demonstrations in:

- In-cab, air brake, and full pre-trip inspections
- Safe, repeatable backing techniques
- Proper coupling and uncoupling procedures
- Confident urban driving and 400-series highway operation
- Adapt your teaching approach to support different learning styles and experience levels
- Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and coach students toward improvement
- Maintain accurate and timely records of attendance, progress, and certifications
- Ensure all instruction aligns with **provincial regulations, TTSAO standards, and safety protocols**:

- Contribute to a positive, professional training environment where students feel supported and challenged
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to continuously improve training outcomes

**What You Bring**

We’re looking for instructors who take pride in their craft and understand the responsibility that comes with training future drivers.

You bring:

- **10+ years of verifiable AZ commercial driving experience**:

- Active driving history with **no employment gaps in the past 5 years**:

- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts
- The patience, confidence, and professionalism required to mentor adult learners
- A solid understanding of provincial transportation regulations and safe operating practices
- Willingness to provide:

- Valid CVOR
- Certified driver’s abstract
- Criminal record check
- Multilingual skills are considered an asset
- Prior instructional or classroom experience is valued but not required
- Completion of our **in-house Trainer Program** prior to working independently with students
