**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal service, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and utensils after use.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
- Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and adapt to changing menus.
